Eric has done work for me in the past (sliders & skids) & will do more for me in the future (bumpers).

Brute force ftw. I don't know Eric at all but billy have talked about my future mods EXTENSIVELY. And when I say extensively I mean he's talked to while I've been in the shower, and while sitting on the Jon. Both times he was quite surprised when I told him what I was doing :)

Long story short, I took a cold shower, both because the phone call was lengthy and because I was excited about my bumpers and roof rack setup. He can build anything and loves figuring out new methods. That'll make more sense when you see my roof rack this summer :) not exactly conventional.

Two thumbs up for Billy. Great customer service, product top notch, competitive pricing. I've never purchased from Relentless so can't say negative or positive.

I've heard good things about both but only.bad things about relentless. You're wait with him could be 7-12+ months from what I've heard. I was on contact with him a while back about a bumper and I guess I asked 1 too many questions and he just never got back to me. That's fine with me because I have a pelfreybilt bumper on order. I have no experience with Billy buy I have heard he is a great guy, he gets my vote

I have no comment on Relentless as I have never dealt with them but I sent an email to Brute Force Saturday morning expecting to hear from them on Monday because of the weekend and they responded that Saturday morning.

I hope to be dealing with Brute Force in the near future so hopefully I will have more feedback then but it sounds like they are pretty good.

FWIW I believe Relentless has a 4th gen 4runner bumper available.

Seems like an awful lot of hearsay going on in this thread. Just saying people tend to exaggerate the situations that actually happened if they feel they have been wronged. Not saying that people have not had issues, it happens but I dont recall reading much in the way of a FIRST HAND negative experience with Relentless.

That said, I have done business with both Relentless and Brute Force. So far everything that has been said in this thread about Billy at Brute Force has been spot on. He was very willing to work with me, has great customer service, and builds one hell of a set of bumpers.

My dealings with Relentless were more recent than with Brute Force, and I cant say anything bad about Eric either. His skids are damn near bomb proof and fit great. His customer service was pretty spot on as well. I spoke to him about some other than usual shipping and he was happy to accommodate. The lead time I was quoted was also spot on.

If I had any plans on ordering any new armor for my truck I would not hesitate to order from either of these two. Just my 2 cents I guess.

I will give my experience with Eric from Relentless. Though the shipping was long, I was okay with it. I understood from the beginning and therefore essentially agreed to the long wait when i placed my order. Everytime I asked for a update, it was within a week or so that i got a response, which was fine. So far I have ordered skids, sliders, cb bracket and tie downs that i have recieved. The smaller items were recieved within a few weeks which is excellent considering im all the way in Canada. The skids and sliders took a little longer, as i bought the skids with a group buy and was the very last to join in. I also placed my slider order so it could be shipped with my skids. Got them roughly a year later. Paid in increments, and worked out for me. Recently just ordered front a rear bumper, which i expect sometime next year. Gives me time to save up for some more goodies :D. Also, shipping through fastenal has saved me a bunch of mulla as i can cross the border to pick them up. Dont need to worry about getting a postage adress across the border.

Anyways thats my experience. Hopefully everything goes well with my bumper order, as i have heard a few problems with peoples order (few people out of X amount that he has made, so im not too worried lol).

I have no experience with billy, but from what i have seen, I believe that both companies make excellent products, so really what ever looks better for you and what ever shipping/payment methods work for you.
