I decided to go all in, ditched my recovery bar and winch cradle setup, and ordered some Brute Force plate bumpers. I also have Brute Force sliders and a bed cage on the way.

First, let me say that Billy at Brute Force Fab is a great guy. He's also the real deal. You Should check out his SAS Taco sitting on 42's on Instagram. As a matter of fact, I bought the bed cage out of his truck because he needs to make a new one to accept a full size 42" spare...

    Anyway. Before:

Test fitting the winch and wondering where I'm going to put the huge ComeUp controller...

Another set of pods from @Raxman80 for the front bumper. My third set. I love these things. I'm going to run these off of the factory fog light switch

Tomorrow I'll install the bumpers and get some after pics. I had a Harbor Freight Super Coupon so I picked up an engine hoist the other day. The front bumper is going to be right around 200 lbs with the winch installed...

I knew this would come in handy:

I did. As I'm sure you already know, it's not UV resistant. Due to the fact that I can never get a smooth finish with POR-15, I used rattle can bed liner as a top coat. It hides the imperfections and is still easy to touch up.

The rear bumper was simple. Jack it into place and bolt it on:
    96CF177A-7E24-4425-87EF-523D291A505E_zps_54b7296406a2ea02a9cfc64575f48c36a8157675.jpg

I pre-installed everything on the front bumper prior to installing it. Space is limited after the fact. Obviously, the winch has to go in first:
    0573C44B-B36B-4F9A-8A33-EFDA71A3A3E2_zps_15b4538ff7d3d88f996c5f6aad18444ba7bb804f.jpg

I'm glad I got the hoist. I don't know how I would've installed this bumper without it. Not alone anyway:
    B251D406-B378-412E-88A8-2FC32B524626_zps_d2b693efb5155fac04a0abefa5c5c1fd1fab95b1.jpg

My winch was just a little too big. I had to trim this support bracket a little:
    F490BC0A-ACAA-4A29-90E0-94894D592C55_zps_accc9acf45200c25ca496a5eba9894f5c6c73e4e.jpg

Once I got the winch to fit, I had to figure out where I as going to put the controller. The ComeUp controller is pretty big. It's meant to mount on top of the winch itself. There was no room for that, or any room inside the bumper.

I figured I'd use the existing center bracket to mount the controller on. The one that I trimmed above. The problem was that you have to remove the center support that bolts to this bracket to install the plate bumper. That leaves the bracket unsupported and wobbly.

I had some aluminum flat stock laying around that I used to reinforce it.

    It JUST fits:

Finished. I also threw on a Pro grill.

What do you have for front lift? Spring rate? Looks like it's not hardly squatting with the added 200lbs. I'm trying to decide aluminum vs steel...

Wow that bumper looks great. I like the added touch of the pro grille as well, something I am considering as well.
