Installed my bumper the other day and left these plates off. We don't know what they're for.

I've texted & called billy, but got no response.. bumper came with no instructions either.

    Does anyone know?

LOL.. whoopsie.. apparently when I tried to adjust the bumper I pushed the plate in and just put bolt into crossmember.

I'm going to be honest, i'm lost. haha.
So they're for adjusting? because my bumper doesn't sit like yours, it's kind of angled down near the back of the fender.

I put the square plates inside for additional support of the cross brace.

    Too many to list now.
The square plates go outside the crossmember underneath as a gap filler. I know, because I did mine wrong and Billy showed me the right way.

    What about the others?

Ben, could you get a picture of where yours are installed on the truck? Whenever you get a chance.

    Okay, cool.
Just spoke to Billy on the phone and he told me they're just washers for added support really. The octagon looking ones go with the frame braces on the inside near the engine.
Forgot where he said about the square ones. Mentioned something about an "ear" haha, but yeah if you would get the picture that would be great.

    Thanks guys.

It's the same spot Jeff already showed you, it just goes underneath the OEM support to the bumper.

That's where I put the other ones. Behind the frame. I thought I may had been wrong when I put them on but I'm glad I wasn't.

Wait where do the non square ones go? I've had my bumper for months and never did anything with them. I haven't had an issue but would like to know where they go.
