Debadged. ARE Topper. Tailgate mods, including locking handle. BAMF LCA skids.
I got mine 2 days ago and painting started today.
It comes primed, but I should have asked for bare metal. I spent 5 hours stripping off the primer (wata mess!), so i could could do a zinc phosphate coating before using POR 15. (first coat on)

I'm trusting the fit, and painting first before taking off the OEM bumper.

This looks like a great bumper.
    Thanks Billy!

PS also got my 4X Innovation sliders the day before, so painting them too.

After sanding down most of the powdercoat off the pins. Tada! I can live with this for now :) Not bad for a free(not perfect) powdercoat :)(put majority of chips on inside so can't see them :D ) btw...these are Halliburton Red :D

Dang, I just threw on 2 coats of Duplicolor bedliner. Except where the cat walked on it, it turned out great.

Too bad I missed the GB deadline. Someone crushed my OEM bumper yesterday and I'm shopping! Bumper looks good Billy!

Eta: I wonder if the body shop that will fix my truck would cut my truck for the HC bumper. Hmmm. Maybe pay them for the labor? They certainly would do a better job than I ever would. Decisions decisions...

Have you ever thought about incorporating a rear winch mount?

I understand that...where would you store it? In the bed? Cab? Front of the truck? The 70lb winch has to go somewhere. I would rather have it tucked under the truck ready to be used.

Not trying to change the topic of this thread. Just asked a simple question. This has been done, and is being done by others. I was just wondering if the OP who has awesome fab skills had ever thought about adding a winch option.

Can't find the shackles anywhere. I checked several Lowe's and Home Depot, as well as . The only shackles I can find are too small. Anyone know a source for a 5/8 shackle with 3/4 pin?

    Too many to list now.
I bought mine at Alaska Materials & Hardware. But I don't think that exists anywhere beyond my borders.

I have the Brute Force Fab rear bumper and i got 4 - 3/4 inch shackles with a 7/8 inch diam pin that fits perfectly. its WLL rated for 4 3/4 ton and made in america, galvanized with blue pins. Its made by Peerless which has a website you can order from. They specialize in chains and other accessories for tow trucks. I think the price was about 12 bucks each with free shipping.:D:D:D

you could also try e-bay. I just looked and Star Products is a Peerless Distributor. you can choose the free shipping and get all you want for 11.50 each or buy them 1 at a time for 6.95 plus about 13 bucks shipping. check it out. i think some of the other sizes are available but I would go with the biggest that fit which is the 3/4 inch shackle
