Already wire brushed, wiped with paint thinner, and primed.

Now just watching paint dry, I don't have the patience for this shit

Looks sweet man! Good job on the painting. I'm still trying to get my Pelfreybilt Sliders welded on myself. Have not had the time to get it done. Frustrating. I'm going to try to knock mine out this weekend. I'm looking forward to yours getting welded up. They are going to look tight on your truck man! Those sliders look good!

Thanks, mine aren't weld on they are bolt on, wanted to be able to take them off and on for maintenance, and they'll get the job done, plus I got a sweet deal from AP on them, $400 shipped for their heavy duty sliders.

Nice! I contemplated getting bolt on Sliders vs Weld on. Couldn't make up my mind so I just went Weld on. That's a great idea though, didn't think about that. AP makes great stuff!

Driver side slider is on, more work than I had originally thought, one more to go!

Close, bout a 1/2" between door and slider

What is everyone doing with these clips? I don't like that they can now rub on the cross members and frame, anybody?

Pic from looking underneath to the inside of the frame

I was about to comment on your bolt-on/maintenance post but I think you found out how often you'll honestly be taking them off for maintenance.

    Looking good.

I had the same ideas until I put some on by myself. Only time they'll be coming off is when I weld a set on.

    Thanks!!

Took out my hella HID 700ff's today cause once HomerTaco decides to bump me to number one on his "Ghost" mesh list, I'll be ready!

    yhatahub_17e3028f62da98f21fe0f3847807a412673520e8.jpg

Also, while I was at it cleaned up my wiring as I'll have my rigid 20" and hopefully soon an aftermarket 40" led bars.

Also got some OTRATTW switches in:

Also helped member VAYoder wire an LED bar today.

Now, some MORE slider shots for anyone who is interested in All Pro Heavy Duty Sliders:

Bout a 1/4" gap between slider and pinch weld with no modification needed

Took my 3* shims out when I added the leaf, shudder intensity stayed the same. I just have a 1/2" CB drop spaced with washers. Vibes at 7-10 mph.

I'm about to go buy an angle finder, shouldn't need to shim the axles, the TC and pinion angles should be equal so I will drop the CB enough to get those equal and see what happens. I wanna win this take off shudder battle.
