Crazy the gearing situation isn’t as expensive as I thought it would be

Oh yeah, I forgot you're gonna head down there and have them do it! Shit's still a lot of money. It's gonna be awhile before I get there. Right now I'm looking at dropping coin on my rear end so I can flex like Kevin.

Nah I’ve been just hanging around doing things twice so it’s taking me forever to get it right. I literally changed out all my original shit to new shit (shocks, bumpers, wheels, leafs). I’m shot.

Any complaints with the 4.88’s? I’m still only thinking about the 4.88s because I know there will be a day when I want 37s

For a turd gen 488's is the only gear upgrade and 35's still don't feel like it matches stock. But my motor and trans suck so don't base it off a turd gen.
He does a good job but takes his time. My truck was his first turd gen taco so that sucked. He's an awesome fabricator and knowledgeable in the jeep community but tacos are fairly new to him. Install price was average but I have no complaints with the labor. My gears don't hum and are very quiet.

What even is the average cost? I understand not wanting to give out a price, but I'm curious on the ballpark figure

Install alone can be very expensive. Total I spent $2500 on gears and install

I have a stock rear E-locker. I'm sure front locker would cost more.
