    Dang! That is nice af!

Edit: also factory reinforced is something I should be looking for than? Or it’s what you’d recommend if you did it over

I would def suggest the factory reinforcement in the cap. To my knowledge if you order a cap with mounting tracks it has reinforcement in the fiberglass. But at the same time I don’t have reinforcement and only have minimal damage from extreme abuse..

Here’s some available EAF points as well..

Yep I am a little closer than David or Randy. I can pick up and store if you need it. Sounds like you're not ready to pull the trigger yet though...:boink:

I’ll know in two weeks but I’d like to know if it’s factory reinforced before proceeding. I’d have to inquire

“ Yes, it was specifically made for the Tacoma. I am selling because I traded in my Tacoma for a newer one and it won't fit the new one. Otherwise, I would have just had this one painted. No leaks and I have all the hardware. Would you like to come by to take a look?”

So this thing available. Question is seeing if it’s reinforced. Right? I’ll be googling that shit ASAP

I have a cap but don't know how to tell if they're reinforced. If you tell me what to look for, I'll go! Just let me know.

Even if it's not reinforced, I'd buy it. A lot of people run RTTs with a non reinforced roof with no issues! Just look at Chux

I’m saying if those are factory tracks, they should’ve inlayed wood like a 2x4 in the fiberglass. Other wise it’s a reggo cap and the previous owner bolted them on after her got the cap. Buff plausible..

Thanks dude! I’m going to try and get the serial number from seller. Run it past leer. Go from there. I’m not desperate for it today to make a move on it. Even though it’s a sick deal.

The reinforced caps on the inside ceiling should have a bump like a 2x4 was glassed into the mold. Non reinforced are flat all the way through the ceiling.

Like @EatSleepTacos said mine isn’t reinforced and I’ve overloaded it before RTT when roof basket was lyfe. I’d have rotos full, fire wood, kayaks, awning on the basket that weighed about the same as a RTT.. and taking that weight down wash board forestry roads. And the cap is still kicking. Even now that I drilled more holes for the hidden table in the ceiling and drilled out a bunch of holes in the window casing for the TRED mounts. A couple minimalist cracks/issues I have but I believe could be avoided. The non reinforced cap has not failed me yet..
