The quality is good, the installation was easy enough, weld are good it does tie in to the frame like any other off-road bumper. It came with grade 5 bolts so I switched them out for grade 8. The recovery points are strong and thick. The only issue when I was mounting it was that the entire bumper was about 2 degrees twisted from side to Sid so I had to ad one extra washer on the right side when installing to twist the bumper to have an even gap to the bed on both sides.

The thing that drives me crazy about all these bumpers is that if anything they give you even less clearance than the stock bumper. I really would love a BSM compatible bumper that relocates the low hanging trailer hitch.

I disagree that clearance is worse than stock with the last three posted, but they do indeed maintain the oem hitch.
You are looking for the apogee bumper
Edit: nvm. Looks like the apogee v2 got rid of the hitch hiding behind the license plate

I installed the same bumper beginning of April with high hopes.
It worked immediately as I took it on the freeway after install.
It picked up the other vehicles as normal, but eventually threw "unavailable" error after that.
Almost a month later, it's still unavailable and BSM has not worked since.

I contacted them and they said to check the wiring, spacers and if those do not work, a "calibration is required" ... which I don't want to spend the money on.

Procuring a version of Techstream and this, or a similar, "Corner Reflector" you could do it yourself:

Haven't yet done it myself, but anticipate it being necessary, at least for OCD.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
I don't know if I should say anything, but I have a 4WP bumper. The reason I say that is the bumper was discontinued/closed out in Dec of '23 and is no longer available. That's a pity, because it's a great bumper. The finish is really good, the clearance is very good (even though you still have the stock hitch receiver) and the BSM sensors work perfectly.

Been in some interesting spots and haven't touched anything but the hitch skid...and lightly at that.
