Radar sensors are behind the rear bumper caps not like the exposed ones you see on most trucks. There’s 3 plastic clips that hold the caps on the bottom and two between the bedside and bumper if you carefully take those out (I broke two) it should be enough to gently pull from the bottom to get the debris out and get a wet rag up there to clean the sensor. When I did this i found fist fulls of gravel up there don’t ask me how the hell it got up there but that was the culprit works fine now. Hope this helps.

Mine failed within the first 500 miles. I've just left it off.

The ones you see are proximity sensors and not related to the BSM system.

Pretty sure they are, my Bsm system wasn’t working I cleaned them and then it started working again. the proximity sensors don’t work unless you turn the bsm button on in the cab so it has to be Integrated in the BSM system.

I’ll wait for someone else to chime in. I’d show you in the manual but I’m just not willing to put the effort in. Have a look for yourself.

This post was intended to help others who are having a similar issue, not start a argument with you. Maybe you could read the manual an tell me what it says.

Yes those are the millimeter radar sensors in each corner and under the cap of the bump. The smaller round sensors that you see in the bumper are the proximity sensors that sense when you’re about to back into something. They work independently.

P.S. Just because I don’t agree with you does mean an augment.

I get what your saying, but those small round sensors on the bumper are proximity sensors for parking assist and have nothing to do with the BSM system I was referring to the radar sensors under the bumper caps that sense when someone is in your blind spot being obstructed and dirty and faulting the system. That’s what I cleaned, that’s what fixed my issue, I don’t even have parking assist on my truck so it definitely doesn’t have anything to do with bsm.

I think we are misunderstand my very first post. In your description you said “Radar sensors are behind the rear bumper caps not like the exposed ones you see on most trucks”

I was just correcting you in that the exposed ones are proximity sensors. Manufactures hide their radar sensors behind the bumper caps or tail lights
