I have a 2016 Limited Tacoma, at 7500km I got an error msg saying BMS not working. At my 8000km first service/oil change the dealer said the driver sensor failed, the dealer ordered a new one and I am waiting to have it replaced under warranty.

I was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem?

FYI the BSM sensors are located in/beneath the rear bumper, access is not that easy. I hope this is not a reoccurring issue in the future, I looked up the part number and the sensors are very expensive.. 200-600 range.

Seems to be a common issue on here.

Common problem but perhaps not nearly as troubling as the low Transmission fluid issues
