bucket seat conversion

    TRD Pro skid plate bedrug carpet for the bed custom leather seats and custom install a Tuffy box as the whole no longer exist in the 2019 Tacomas had my stereo guy custom cut the hole
    I have a 2009 Tacoma regular cab free runner would like to put in a bucket seats. I noticed yesterday that they offer the 2013 4 wheel drive Regular Cab with bucket seat but seems like only with the automatic transmission model is anyone know can you put those feet in a regular cab with a manual transmission

    Biggest issue is airbag compatibility.
    It's best to get seats from the same year truck, but even then, there may be airbag issues.
    There's a writeup where someone put in seats from a different year truck, and he had to transplant the underseat airbag interface, as well as lift the seat cover and foam and transplant the air bladders that sense weight.

    But his transplant was between two different years that transitioned the side impact airbags in the newer seats.

    Same year MIGHT be a plug and play, but I don't know.

    The transmission issue is because the buckets require a center console and they don't make a center console for the regular cab for the manual trans.

    but, i have an automatic reg cab base, so there shouldnt be a problem putting them in? im gonna keep my eye out where i live
