I have a 2016 offorad with about 90k. Lately when driving at 20-30 with very little throttle, engine idle about 1200 rpm the truck will buck, surge. I put new plugs in at 59k but am planning on replacing them. Are there any ideas what this could be. No check engine light no warning lights. mileage is stable at about 17 mpg mixed highway city. Put new tires on but same size as stock. If I give it some accelerator it clears up. No surging or bucking at highway speeds. When i turn on the ect may help some. Thought it was bad gas but now not sure. What do you guys think throttle position sensor? ...

Crank position sensor was a problem on quite a few early trucks

If you have or can borrow an ODBII port scanner, the TPS sensor should be easy to confirm.

I had a Dakota where the tac would flutter about 150 RPMs when cruising on flat highway. I connected my ScanGuageII and saw the TPS reading jump up and down perfectly correlated to the change in RPMs. I replaced the TPS and the RPM flutter went away.
