Liking the new truck overall except for the mushy, (rocking horse ride). What do I have to do to get a little stiffer ride and get rid of the bounciness? Not really looking for any added height unless it's part of removing the soft ride. Any suggestions? First new pickup in many, many years so I have no idea what is/isn't available. Read lots of posts here on the forum but, couldn't find any real talk on getting rid of the mushy ride. I plan on going with some 265-70/17 Falken Wild Peak AT W3 tires in a couple of weeks.

The TRD Sport is stiff but not bouncy if you run the correct tire pressure (30-32 psi). You didn't say if you have the sport or OR. The OR's shocks are Bilstiens and have a mushier ride.

Sorry, I have the Sport. Right now running 31 psi. on stock tires. Maybe I not using the correct words to describe the ride. It just seems that even a soft touch on the brakes causes the front end to nose down and back up. That motion is what I'm trying to get rid of. I realize that a vehicle is going to do that when braking. I just feel that the back and forth motion is excessive. I finally found the term I was missing...Body roll.
