Niiice Denis, its pretty cool back there huh. Did you go down that steep hill on the way into the lot? Hopefully with all this rain everything will be melted for the meet. Nice pictures too

No i didn't try the hill, i pretty much was playing in the mud on that long straight away and did a few circles around, i didn't really explore to much.
There was still a good amount of snow around the back and i was pretty much by myself untill the end when a couple of kids on quads showed up.
I was thinking about going back up next weekend when more of the snow melts and looking around a little more.

well won't be able to make the meet sorry :(

swerved to miss a deer this morning and hit a huge rock pile on the side of the road. Blew out the left front tire, broke the rim, bent the lower control arm, bent the lca mounts, trashed the skid plate and left several gouges all along the underside as i traveled over this monstrosity left from the last ice age (or some asshole who dumped it illegally). :annoyed:

anyhow its heading to the stealerships body shop tomorrow to get fixed so hopefully next time.

    Q

PS. just noticed the the bed is now crooked, don't know how that could have happened but will have em look at it.

@Qjake: Sorry to hear about that! I'd have opted for the deer and a nice venison dinner though. ;) Maybe they will get it done before the meet!?!

I now have to list as tentative... I've been scurrying to get my wife's motorcycle done before the weather permits riding. Well, we're at the point where we can ride and I was supposed to get all her parts out of paint tomorrow but after speaking with the painter, we're delayed a week. It's likely I'll be picking them up next Friday evening and working throughout Saturday to get her bike on the road ASAP. We're more riders than drivers and log twice as many miles each year on bikes than the cages, so I'm just as anxious to have my riding partner on two wheels as I am to get on mine.

So, IF I can get the parts a day or two sooner, I might get the bike done before I have to leave Sat. for the meet. If it is Friday night, there's no way I'll be done in time and I'll miss out on this meet. Count me as "last minute but don't wait up..." Thanks guys!

This is what it looked like when I started:

This is what it looks like right now:

This is what it will look like just not this color:

thx bud was really leaning towards coming as i really wanted to see a supercharger in action. look forward to the pics!

wish i had opted for the deer, upon further inspection it looks as tho i've pushed the entire left frame rail back about an inch or so. that along with trashing the lca, skid plate, tire and wheel...its just a friggin mess under there. really can't figure all the damage i was only going bout 25-30 tops. will know more tomorrow when we get back on a lift at the stealership

on the plus side i was thinking of trading it for an 11, looks like thats gonna have to happen now. maybe i'll have em put a S/C on the new one:burnrubber::woot:

It doesn't take a lot of speed if two solid objects collide. I did the same with one of my mini's back in the day... got run off the road and the frame caught a high curb... diamond shaped frame and tore off most of the front suspension... totaled!

RE: the bike... Thanks! We'll both be on the FZ1s but with two really different looks. You all remember the 1997 Toyota truck color called Mystic Purple Mica Pearl? ;)

Congrats! Your man toy days are about over but for the best reason EVER! I still think the boys were easier to raise but I wouldn't trade any of them!

My daughter is almost 24 now and she's given us our first grand child. She's about the best behaved and mannered 16 month old baby I've ever encountered. :D
