So I am basically looking for a Seat condom ....... Since I have new seats why not keep all the crud/coffee spills/crumbs/any other fluids :)eek:)..... off of them with some seat covers??

I have a 19 Taco Access cab and of course only need the front seats "protected"

    Any recommendations? Thanks!
    Ken

Neoprene seat covers from Amazon. 30 dollars or so, FH Group was the brand name. Had them in the Rav4 since 2015 no issues. Put some in the Tacoma at the end of 2018. The covers were tight on the front seats as I did hear a couple stitches pop on the covers when pulling them over. But they have not fell apart yet.

They are a little loose, but that's was by design. I wanted a durable cover, I could take off and wash quickly, and often. I didn't want to spend an hour peeling and stretching, and probably ruining seat covers.

You might consider seat covers in Endura by Durafit. They run about $140 or so, if you call them they will give you a a coupon code for free shipping. They are not slip on though, use straps underneath. The Endura fabric is tough and stain proof, wears like iron.

You should probably give folks an idea of what your budget is.

a seat? or a row? That budget though is prob. only met by Walmart although you can order some pretty cheap sets off Ebay.
If not caring about fit and willing to just throw them away every couple of years that's the way to go.
I'm not much on wanting a cover that i feel I need to worry about and protect with another cover myself. Had neoprene before also and found it too hot.

I will say after buying many Wally World or parts store covers that the Carharts (sp.) will last the length of ownership and the Wallies fall apart in just a few years. Your call. If you don't want to wash and just buy new ones......go cheap.

3rd gen have airbags in the seats themselves right? does covering the entire seat with a seat with a sleeve-like cover impact the airbag's ability to deploy properly? stumbled upon this thread as I'm looking for some seat covers myself and saw the SRS tag on my seats and assume that means there are airbags in the seat...could be wrong tho!

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
The carhartts fit nice and snug IF YOU FOLLOW THEIR instructions to the letter. Primarily WASH them before you put them on and take your time when installing them.
Here are mine -- I can't speak for a back seat as with my AC I don't have one. Mine have been on 2 years and the seats under them look brand new. Soon I am going to pull mine off and wash them the 2nd time. Autoanything gave me a great deal.

See pic a couple posts down

There are airbag compatible seat covers. Make sure you get those.
