WRONG, probably...but I am interested in buying one, only based off of my experience with my 09 4Runner which was a MAGNET for bugs on the road... I'm interested in knowing your experience with the 3rd gen; have you noticed a substantial difference on the highway? I see a lot of them on the forums but wanted some feedback and recommendations please.

    Thanks!

What or who, do yo want to shield from bugs..? and... "my 09 4Runner which was a MAGNET for bugs on the road... "OK... are you saying that your 4 Runner picked up dead bugs from the road because the vehicle was a "bug Magnet"..?? Confused..??

I would like to know how well they help from bugs splattering my windshield.
Do you think that it reduces bugs on windshield by 20, 30 or 40 % ???

It's purely cosmetic bro. They don't help one bit.

They work in my third gen 4runner. But on the new Taco, it just looks dumb.

On the 4runner it helped a ton with debris like small rocks on the freeway to protect my hood. And I did notice that it does help keep the windshield a tiny bit cleaner. Reminder, this was on a 4Runner.

They don't do crap and in my opinion, looks ugly on the new Tacoma.
But, hey...if you like it, get it.

Purely interested in their performance only. We take a few 12 hour trips each year and my last vehicle took a beating without a bug shield. So if it serves no functional improvement on the 3rd gen, then I suppose its not worth it.
