My OME lift is on it's way , and I'm talking to Eric about a RelentlessFab bumper , but I probably won't post any pics till I'm done .

nut splitters FTW!!

 

I actually torqued one of the nut splitters so hard that I broke it. I need to get pictures of that too!

Seriously, it's fucking easy. The issue is sticking bolts.

The front is a breeze, just be sure to clean all the bolts and threads real good before putting them back on to ensure a proper fit.

And spray spray spray the shit out of all the bolts with a good penetrating lubricant like WD-40, or liquid wrench at least 2 days before starting.

Just speaking from experience.



Unless you really have no inclination of installing them yourself, but personally I like to do things myself. That way I know exactly what was done to the truck, and how it looked before and how it looked during and after.

Nothing is more annoying than asking some one about their 'Whatever' and they have no clue cause they didn't do it themselves.

 

I'm just rattling your cage , I'm just the monkey helper when my truck gets worked on . I have a friend who is a mechanic and has a lift . We are going to do it at his garage . I hope my 09 shocks come apart a little easier than you had to deal with . My truck doesn't see the same amount of road salt your does out here in the rainforest .
