Trading my 09 Tacoma for a new TRD Sport 6spd. Have read all the posts regarding the temp gauge deletion and am disappointed in Toyota's decision to do that. Am also trying to decide if I want the TRD quick shifter installed "on the way" to the dealer. The posts on this are less definitive. Anyone care to give me their opinion on this option or any others before it's too late to change my order?
    Thanks in advance
    Paul

Also thinking about a set of much more aggressive tires. Would you mount them on separate rims and keep the originals as summer tires? And how much of a hassle is the TPMS? If you pay to have TPMS on the new rims do you have to go to the dealer every tire change for reprogramming?

What are you talking about there is no outside temp guage in the 14's?? How could that be...

I have TPMS on both my summer and winter wheels. You're able to program 8 sensors into the truck. The dealer fails to mention that so you pay them every time you change your wheels.
