Build Date

I heard some of the guys whom have ordered new vehicles getting the exact date their vehicle is to be built, but how about the rest of us whom found ours on the dealer lot or bought one used, how do we find out what date our truck was built? I would settle for a build month/year, but an exact date would be really cool.

Look on the inside of the drivers door frame area. Should be a label with your VIN on it, it will also have the build Month/Year. Dealer would likely be able to tell you the exact day.

That is exactly right, My build date 11/27, was told by dealer 11/23, but the 11/23 means week of 11/23 I found the 27th in the area of the paint code #,on the dealer jacket, on the day that she arrived. I think I shocked the sales rep that I cracked the code, now I wonder what shift??
