I'm getting ready to lift my 2013 DCLB w/camper shell and have a few questions regarding weight. I'm planning on doing suspension/wheels/tires soonish, and then adding aftermarket bumpers/skids/sliders in the near future (at most a year). I was looking at fox 2.5's with dakar leaf pack in the back. From what I've read the fox's might struggle with that weight in which case I'd have to replace the springs. Should I be looking at getting something that can handle that weight now instead up having to upgrade when the time comes? How fucked will my ride be if I do that and have to drive around a year on it?

The new Dakers 96R should be fine for your setup.
