Really am looking hard and yes call me lazy. Can get the steel, cut it,weld it. Just having the truck apart for days on end is kinda a no go. Weekend yes. All the DIY kits seem a little if not alot over priced at best. Then the mods to fit my specs, the powder coating, light mounts, and the dreaded shipping cost! Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks guys and gals. Jay

Do it. This doesn't seem like rocket science. We'll be watching.

I am too. Something that tells me a specific material (metal type, OD, wall thickness) what parts of the front end should be removed, length of tubing, plate dimensions, and bend radius/cut lengths. It's not that I can't figure it out on my own, but the thought process and decision making, then gathering materials, fabricating each piece, and then assemblying would take me two weeks. Some of us have to work for a living and have limited free time without the wife and kids at home.

Before you get into this do you have access to the proper tools to build this if you had the build plans. For instance if you're planning on building from scratch, do you have a bender or a press?

Seems doubtful a fabricator is going to say "here are the free plans to make my bumper, cheers!", but good luck.

There are websites where you can buy plans though. Let me see if I can find it.

If you would be interested in a bumper like this I might make a cad file with all of the dimensions. I still should have my cardboard templates laying around somewhere.
