You guys speak of new models as if there are only 100 of them. The 16’s & 17’s are the only documented problem models on a large scale. There are THOUSANDS of great 3rd gens out there. Quit living in a Mobile home while you rag out every class A subdivision in the suburbs because of jealousy. Your meth house is not representative of society as a whole so to speak.

Agreed. This is one of the reasons I went with a 2022 Tacoma instead of the new Nissan. I drove the Nissan and really liked the drivetrain and quiet cabin. But when it came time to spend the money, I went with the old Tacoma that's had virtually every issue identified by now.
I had a WRX the first year they were available. Big mistake. Won't do that again.

    Thanks MIDTNTACO,
It appears mine speaks Espanol. In any event, it CC notwithstanding it seems to be well built, nice fit and finish.

Oh okay, my 16 had a pleathru of issues, my 17 did as well, my 19 was flawless and so has been my 20. Let me guess cause your 17 was precovid, pre TSS, what a joke.

As for the people (like me) who hate TSS, you can sign a cute little waiver and have the dealership shut the entire system off.

Lack of help has taken its toll on the people that do come in to work. Especially restaurants, they have to do double the work. Quality is sometimes lacking all over, can’t really blame anyone for the hours they are expected to work.

Take out, eat in… even our favorite small watering hole has put out some serious crap during the pandemic. Not really looking to rip on the people working in these places, just that I’ve noticed the serious lack of quality and consistency most in the restaurant industry. But also in other businesses. No doubt there have been some serious challenges in every work place. I wouldn’t be surprised if new vehicles coming off the lines may be below pre-pandemic quality standards.

I’ve noticed the prices are up 20+ %.

Thankfully the places I frequent still have really good quality. Damn sure better for the price I pay for food at them.

My 2021 was built October 2020 in Mexico. Fit and finish look and feel just fine to me. I do have a rattle or blown speaker on the front drivers door, but that's likely due to me cranking the radio "to 11" frequently. Good excuse to upgrade...

No. My truck was hand-finished. That’s the difference.

Don’t think this is really a supply chain issue more of a buyer not completely checking vehicle over before taking possession. Going to be QA issues with every new line of vehicles one of the reason I never buy the first year of a new line.
