    Been thinking about just getting some Efans and half ass wire to the spod and turn on when needed but I know that’s not a good idea.

    It’s a good idea as long as it works. My Pontiac has a caddy fan system but when I got it from the wreckers I got the Whole Shootin’ Match. OEM like that Needs to work. Aftermarket stuff is grossly overpriced & durability is definitely an issue. Even that took a lot of dialin’ in before I got it right.

    That’s what I keep reading it’s a process to get it right I’m going to go with oem it was a novelty idea. I got 173k out of it I can’t be upset about that I’ll probably replace the hoses and t-stat while I got it apart.

    Comparin’ OEM to most aftermarket I’ve seen is like comparin’ a plow horse to a thoroughbred. I don’t need peak top shelf performance. I just want it to work & last.
