Not really a mod but finally stepping up in tire size scored these tires from Walmart for hella cheap. A pretty mild AT should be good for my use mostly hwy driving. Gotta love Walmart gift cards .55$ outta pocket.:D

I know I’m a little leary of them, tires is not something I like to cheap out on but the reviews all are good.

I wouldn’t your truck looks proper with that size on it. Plus the mileage/power drop.

I'm sure that they will be fine, mine are starting to howl a bit more now that I've added some miles to them recently. Gonna be upgrading at some point this fall probably. Trying to hold off until the labor day sale discount usually has. I'm just not looking forward to getting less MPG's with bigger tires lol

I feel like it's in a comfortable place at the moment with the added weight, I can definitely tell there's some sluggishness now at the beginning and mid ranges

Was thinking about the Cooper AT3 XLT's, similar to what I have now just the updated version with some sidewall fancyness now [IMG]

Thought about doing 275's but only michelins and Kbro2's are available in that size.

Just gonna be worse with 285s it sucks going in and out of OD on the hwy. You may not experience that your truck isn’t full piggy status yet...

I definitely noticed it when we were on the long road trip recently, in strong head winds it was in and out of 4th and 5th gear. But not terribly bad. If I kept it under 75mph it wasn't too bad.

Yeah probably so if I do 33's, very distant future though lol I need to save for a house before I get too crazy with the truck anymore. Plans to pick up a rear bumper from the NoPro, try and get a roof rack for the topper to carry kayaks and mount my shade awning to, and do a lot of maintenance but other than that the truck will be done til I get another daily one day.

I put a set of these Nexen AT Pro’s on my old Dodge, but didn’t keep it long enough to tell you if they were any good or not. I traded the truck like a month after I put the tires on. But I still see it around two years later with the same tires, so I assume they have held up alright

Good deal everything I’ve read has been positive cept for mud traction but that’s rare for me.

They had really good reviews back when I bought them. They looked pretty good on the truck too. They are kind of mild but looked fairly aggressive on a stock truck
