Build that lacks building

I had one in my Silverado and loved it. Didn't know how it would it would perform in a Tacoma.

 

It’s a game changer well worth the investment. Might as well regear while your at it.

 

What gears did you get?

Is it front and rear? I know zilch about gears

 

Both, the gears have to match otherwise if you engage 4wd something will break.

 

I'll regear to 4.56 or 4.3 at some point. But I'll throw in a front locking differential when I do. Already have the OEM electronic locking rear differential.

One thing I still don’t understand, Matt. How does the OME traction control react. ...and yes, it’s still not in.

 

Supposed to still work the same

 

But how? If both wheels are locked & goin’ the same speed. Somethin’ simple here I don’t get.

 

I dunno it doesn’t make sense but Matt has always said it drives like normal and traction control still works

reacts the same if anything the lockup kicks in faster works great together.

 

See, I thought they were gonna be fightin’ each other. Locker, Yes. My Ranger had one but locker & traction control is new to me.
