    All this gun talk making me jealous. I went to get my inspection on truck at the end of June, and while I was waiting I figured I'd cruise the pawn shop next door. Well they had a 308 bullpup that I just can't see living without. Unfortunately it was out of my current price range. I do believe that my next rifle will either be that or an M-14/M1A1.

    Agreed. My first ship was just about the oldest in the fleet. So weapons training was with the M-14 instead of 16 because the armory never got updated. I shot both the wooden stock and composite stock. That wood stock is heavy, but I love it. Full auto it'll blow throw a mag in what seems like less than a second.
