I got that covered already I’m trying to figure out the spare situation. I don’t wanna keep it in the bed or get a swingout.

Very interested to see what you come up with! Thats a lot of tire to have to put somewhere.. perhaps on top of your roof rack, and strap it down safari style

That would work good if you had a new clean spare, minus the rubber smell that would permeate the cab

I'll probably go 315/70r17 as well. I like the Cooper's, and they don't come in 35x12.50

 

I think it's because the size measurement isn't taken at the top of the tread blocks.

I was looking at them. Good life, aggressive tread and the are relatively affordable and come in 35x12.50

i still use the bed to much.

 

That makes sense, i just realized rim widths also affect overall diameter once mounted.. didnt realize that till @MattCowsmasher mentioned he lose about 1/2"-3/4" when installing his 255s on a 9" wide wheel

Yep, that's also why most people running 35s run them on 8" or 8.5" wide rims. It also seals the bead better when aired down.
