Building a 2021 TRD Off-Road - how will this setup look/function?

    Hi all!

New to TacomaWorld, fairly new to 4x4 off-roading in general. I got a 2021 TRD Off Road Double Cab Long Bed. I'm ready to do some upgrades to better my off-road capabilities both for the summer and winter conditions. I live in the Eastern Sierra's where there can be sharp rocks and obstacles on the dirt roads and of course while off-roading. I also will be hauling heavy loads of log rounds when I harvest wood for winter while on dirt roads and light to moderate off-roading.

Any opinions on this setup are much appreciated! I would rather spend some money up front and do it right, so any other suggestions for parts are very welcome!

Lift goal is 2.75", or maybe 3" but I would prefer no differential drop needed. Everything I read says you should stay under 3" lift without the drop to have better CV angles.

Suspension: Standard Leaf Springs (because I will only be hauling really heavy loads in the bed occasionally)
FOX 2.5″ Non-Reservoir IFP Front Coilovers
FOX 2.0 IFP Rear Shocks (Remote Reservoir)
    All-Pro Upper Control Arms

    Tires:
Falken Wildpeak AT3 - LT265/75R16 - E Load rating mounted to OEM TRD Off Road wheels - E rated because I care less about gas mileage and more about not popping a tire. I will be out far sometimes with no cell service. Suggestions?

    Front Bumper:
Victory 4x4 BLITZ | 3RD GEN (16+) (No Bull Bar because of interference with TSS sensors, I think?)

    Winch:
    Warn VR EVO 10-S

    Protection:
RCI Full Skid Package (Steel Powder coated)

RCI Fuel Tank Skid Plate (Steel Powder coated)

RCI Rear Differential Skid Plate (Steel Powder coated)
    https://rcimetalworks.com/product/2016-tacoma-rear-differential-skid/

    Final Questions:

1.) FOX recommends 10k full rebuild service interval for 50/50 Street/OR. Is this actually the needed interval? Seems like a short time before needing service. Any other shocks I should be looking at that ride well and don't need much, if any service for 30-50k miles?

2.) Is a 2.75" lift going to mess with my CV angles too much?

3.) I know E rated tires are heavier and ride a little rougher, but having reliability off-road is pretty important to me. I know I have a spare tire, but I'd rather just not even go there if possible. Are these going to not be as street-able for daily driving?

4.) Is all the added steel undercarriage protection, E rated tires, bumper, and winch going to add too much weight and make the Taco a little more sluggish?

5.) Anyone have this bumper with bull bar and can confirm no interference with TSS sensors?

Thank you for any help and suggestions!

I'd go SSO for the bumper and get the hoop. It doesn't mess anything up and it's badass.

I wouldn't go over 2.5. I think it looks the best. Especially with 265's.

You'll probably be ok but 4.88's will be your next mod.

A tune would hold you over until then.

If you're getting the RCI skids there's really no reason not do a diff drop, they accommodate one without spacing the skid plate down. I'm running a hair over 2" and with the diff drop my CV axles are nice and straight.

Id suggest holding on to the money thats burning a hole in your wallet. You said youre new to offroading, go do some offroading with a local group, learn it. A great driver can do quite a bit w a stock rig. Wait, see what you really need.

Haha, thats probably not a bad idea. I think at the very least I am going to get new tires. I was not a fan of the stock tires in the snow this past winter.
