Sold...I'll preorder now if I can. Just shoot me details on how to get it happening. I tried your online store but it says "sold out" (I expected that though).

Funny, I did a google search for "compass temperature inclinometer tacoma"...first time google found exactly what I want in one try :)

Well, good news and bad news.

The good news is that the circuit boards finally came!

The bad news is that there's a problem on them. :( Two of the wires that come from the navigation switch run into two of the holes from the timing chip. I double checked the damn circuit board diagram a dozen times before send them off to be printed but I missed it. I'm pretty bummed. :( Every time you use the nav switch it resets the board or goes blank completely because it screws up the timing going into the main chip.

I'm going to try a little hack by actually cutting the lead where it touches the timing pads and see if I can disconnect the two. If that works then we're back in business and you guys can start ordering these (I've got everything I need for 25 total in various screen colors). If you order the parts kit then I'll have the timing chip pre-soldered so I can cut those leads. If you get the pre-assembled version you'll never know the difference.

I ordered a small batch of new boards with the leads in the correct position. Small batches usually take 10 days or so. But if this hack works I won't have to wait for those to come in.

Sorry about this guys and thanks for hanging in there!

Would love to have a voltage readout here. Would pay much more to have the ability to read battery voltage, and dual battery voltage if I run + from my seco d battery to a second terminal. My desired setup for dual batteries is a Bluesea ACR which has no monitoring, and this would be much cleaner than a dash mount.

This is a stand alone unit with no plugins to read battery voltage.
Unless of course the OP wanted to add bluetooth capability to it. Then it could be paired with a obd2 bluetooth to readout the cars vitals for display. This would require significantly increasing the size of this unit to be able to diplay not only the stand alone features (pitch, roll, altitude, etc... being offered with this unit + the torque app screen display, BUT this would be one kick ass stand alone unit!

What do you say Cann? Make a larger screen unit with two built in dedicated displays (1 dedicated to display the stand alone features of this product and 1 dedicated to display the torque app) capable of bluetooth to accept the torque app data received from the obd2 bluetooth plugin?
(hey a guy can dream, right? ... version 3.0.... )

I need voltage monitoring for two seperate batteries while ignition is off. Bluetooth would only show voltage of starter battery that the cpu sees.

I understand there would need to be a seperate sensor board to accept + from each battery.

Agreed. I looked at this. My reasoning for the Bluesea is that it is 1/2 the cost, has a flush mount overide button for the dash instead of a bulky surface mount controller. Also a manual overide on the unit itself. I see it as a cleaner install, but both would get the same job done. Just preference I guess. I do appreciate IBS' s built in voltage monitoring though.

    Subbing because.... this is awesome.

I'm sure it's been asked but, any chance of doing a matching orange O-LED screen?

go check out the wealth of knowledge of Dual battery Systems on Ih8mud.com , not saying this is a good place to start but the mud scene is a little more grown in that aspect

    Update!!

So I got a new mini-batch of boards and they're looking good, finally. I just ordered a bigger run of those and should have them in two weeks. Once those come in these babies are going on sale come hell or high water.

And not that it helps anyone yet, but I just finished the assembly instructions for those that get the parts kit: http://store.camerontech.io/blogs/news/11441929-offroad-cpu-assembly-instructions

Now I have to scroll up and see some of these ideas about battery voltage and reading the OBDII!!

There's no pure orange OLED screen that I've seen...yellow is as close as it gets, sorry! You may be able to each and put some kid of orange cellophane sheet over the screen to tint it a bit...

Oh geez, I didn't even know they made bluetooth interfaces to the OBDII system! Anyone have a link? I'll look into it...
