Rear brake line spacer or lines. Rear leaf shims. Front sway bar relocate brackets. Carrier bearing drop bracket. ECGS bushing and removal tool, UCAs. Axle nut socket. You may not need all of that but look into it.

I went Bilstein 6112 front, 5160 rear with OME Dakar medium leaf pack. Leaf pack requires bushing packs. I really like it so far. If funds allow, look at Kings or ADS, but I felt those Bilsteins were the best value for me and what I do off and on road.

Depends, are you 2 or 4 wheel drive?

Do you want to do spacers, high end coil-overs, or something in between for the front? Do you want to do blocks, add a leafs, or full leaf pack replacement in the rear?

what are your plans for the truck? Are you looking for performance? Do you just want the look? Or are you trying to copy some overlander you saw on Instagram?

i haven’t used 6112s, but I was told and I have seen a lot of people saying that the ride is very harsh once you get up towards the top perches. The lower perches are a great ride though.

I like it. Much better on road manners than a stock OR and takes washboard and bumps a lot better on unmaintained roads. Haven't made it to serious off road yet. Got it done 2 weeks ago.

I have a 4x4.. I don’t want to do spacers.. I just like the loo right now . I used to off-road my Jeep quite a bit but since I got the truck have it had time. So really I guess in between more casual off-roading then anything else.

I'm on 5/6 on mine and it's softer on bumps than stock, but doesn't dip and roll like it used to. I found it much less harsh.

Edit: I do have a hidden which mount and armor/ sliders though, so I'm heavier than stock fwiw.

The CB drop should not be needed with shims. The main driveline out of the Tcase should be as straight and true as possible. The shims correct the working angles of the second driveline pinion with the rear axle

look into Bilstein 5100s with OME coils. You can do an add a leaf for the rear.

since you have 4x4, keep the lift under 3”, more like 2.5-2.75” to maintain your CV angles. Prepare for the need for upper control arms for your alignment, it’s hit or miss, and an expensive add on. You can do an add a leaf for the rear, or a block to get the lift. Most people aim for about 1” less lift in the rear to level the truck. Also, do not get a drop bracket lift as you will have to cut out a cross member, the drop brackets are not necessary if you keep to the guidelines I explained.

Check out headstrong off-road. They are active in this forum and their website will have all of the information you need to figure out your lift. They will also answer any questions you have

Agree. I used 2.5* shims only and my angles are good. Also didn't use diff drop or sway drop. Probably taking sway off though.

you have a lot of extra weight to help. I wanted to get the 6112s but I didn’t want the harshness with close to stock weight.

So would the 6112’s be a bad choice for 1-1.5” lift with only 225lbs of slider armor? This is a 95% daily driver. I’m looking for a quality lift that’ll take care of some of the Taco roll on the road as well as the nose dive. And as we all know, and extra inch or so never hurts.

not sure about those numbers, but fox 2.0s would probably be a better option for a few more bucks
