    I spent half of yesterday replacing most of the old, dilapidated parts on the front/driver side of my 2002 VW GTI. Bought a ton of parts off rockauto.com for a good deal. New axle, tie rod, bushings, control arm, shock/coil assembly, and brake pads and the rotor. I still need to do the right side when I get more time.
