so i've decided that i dont have enough room in my garage. my solution is to build some cabinets to hang on the walls. here's my problem, i've never built cabinets before and dont really know the "most efficient" way to do it. if anyone has any experience with this, some direction and pics would certainly help. almost forgot....i'm going to be using wood as i absolutely suck at metal fab.

    thanks!

Best thing to do is try to find somebody who's renovating their kitchen and will give you the old cabinets. I ran into a friend of a friend situation a couple of years ago and it was great. Might be worth posting a wanted ad in craigslist in your area.

I agree with the poster above. Just keep an eye out on craigslist. I've had my eyes out for some here lately as I'll be moving back to Independence next week, and I want to organize the garage better. A guy in Mariemont was selling nine cabinets last week for $5 per cabinet. By the time he contacted me back that same day, they were gone. You have to act fast, because when they're that cheap, they're sold as soon as they're posted.
