Ok so I traded in my 2014 Tacoma for a 16DCSB Sport. In my '14 I had bilstein 5100 set at 1.75 in the front. I am trying to understand the differences between the 14 and 16 now. I read that someone said we can't set the 5100's at 1.75 in the new taco or it would need UCA. So my option is to just set it at .85 and call it a day or set it at 1.75 or higher?? and get UCA. Or, would going higher then 1.75 be too much on the current spring?

My thought was Bilstein front shock set at 1.75" with
rear bilstein shocks 5125 (for 2" lift)
    Shocks $330
Light Racing (Toy tec) UCA $450
Toytec 2" block $100 or Toytec AAL 1.5-2" lift for $85

Do I need Diff Drop kit?
Do I need longer Break Lines?
Do I need sway bar relocates?

    Thoughts?

Ok, I wasn't sure if anything changed because I didn't need UCA for 1.75" bilsteins but now we do?

Rock is correct, you can get away with it and be within safe operating specs, but to be within factory alignment specs across the board aftermarket UCAs will be required.

and you are also going off 2015 specs right? do you think the specs could be different for the 2016 and maybe you actually are within spec?

Yes, this was with the 12-15 specs.

That's actually a really good question and not one many can answer at this point. I asked the service guy the same thing and from the conversations he had the specs should be nearly identical from 2015, but not sure I can trust that info with the coil change in the new truck or if that makes a difference. I do know I'm not within factory spec just by the looking at my camber. You can visually still see the slightly positive lean in the wheel and my camber bolts are maxed out. Hopefully in the next month or two Toyota will start updating these factory specs to their service centers.

Yea I'm just thinking it would be a shame if you actually are within spec and spend the money on buying and installing new UCA if it wasnt actually needed.

Is the rear bilstein shocks 5125 (for 2" lift) the correct shock to get with say a 1.5" wheelers 3 leaf progressive as opposed to billstein 5100's?

it was mentioned in the pinned thread about lifting a new tacoma that the UCA are recommended for a 2inch lift
