I'm amused by this assertion from somebody who's spent months chasing problems with his non-elocker rear axle.

 

I won't buy used dude. Period.

Why buy used, completely rebuild it to make sure I know its of perfect health, when i can just rebuild the one under my truck that is already paid for, that i know the life and history of?

 

pinion bearing can fail on any axle. size and build doesn't matter.

Sadly this is 90% of tacomaworld, we told you from the beginning it wasn't your driveline. Stop spending money, crawl under your truck, look around and do the work yourself.

I would rather rebuild something myself then trust the workmanship of someone else.
