ya hopefully it works out well lol

and yes and no... it was mainly discount tire that did. i complained about the tires on here and the guys on tw discount tire helped me out and hooked me up with a local discount tire to help me out. after back and forth a lot... toyo bought back the tires at half cost which still didnt help me and discount tire said it wasnt enough and covered the rest and gave me a set of 275/70/17 falken wildpeaks since at this time i had ordered my 22 ranger and was wanting to swap wheels and tires onto it lol. so went with a smaller size tire to fit it but ended up selling them on the truck.

I’ve had decent luck with tires. Had a sidewall split on a pot hole on a p rated firestone once. Had a set of hankooks that never held a balance. Other than that, i’ve been buying name brand tires and have had great luck.

Both sets of falkens took a ton of weight to balance, didnt care for that personally but they held up fine

thankfully (knocks on wood) ive never had that kind of issue with a tire yet! ive always had name brand tires like cooper, toyo, bfg, hankooks, and a few others but the coopers have always lasted me well even thou they pull hard when they get worn down pretty far.

ya i had that issue as well with the falkens... hopefully the at4ws are better?

Buying too many lol. I managed to put about 50k miles on my last set of Grabbers before I got something different.

I tried the Yoko g003’s in the middle of that 50K but they were 285’s and too big for my driving style so I returned them and put the Grabbers back on. Now I have Maxxis MTs but I keep thinking about trying 285’s again.

haha that does seem to be a bit of a problem there. what tire size are you running now? ive ran 255/265/275/285 so far my fav size has been 255 and 275s

I’m on 16” wheels. I’ve been running 265/75/16 for the longest and that’s my current size. I tried the g003’s in 285/75/16 but they just were too heavy for my liking even with a tuned truck. My plan for now is to stick with 265’s until our cross country trip this fall, and then consider 285’s again with a re-gear.

ah i gotcha if you had 17s id say try a set of 275s its inbetween both 265s and 285s and its been great for me on both my ranger and on both tacomas ive had.

That’s a good recommendation, I was actually considering switching to 17” wheels for a while just to run that size. I just like the look of 16” wheels too much and I love the ones I have. Plus I don’t want to spend the money lol
