TC kits are going to heims for the 2nd Gens, that's why you see so many TC bushing uppers for sale now.

Heimed uppers allow you to solid mount your lowers so you dont have to worry about bent tabs or alignment going out when you hit dirt.

come on Bryan, you remember tack welding my alignment cams, right? ;)

    oh yeah...haha
I just know I have ran both ways and bushings lasted way longer. But I have never had a gen 2.

    ...too much shit to list.
There's another advantage to heim uppers too. Once you max out your camber plates...that's it. No more camber/caster adjustment.
Somewhat of a problem for us morons who have frames that kinda look like this /----\ :anonymous:

That does make sense. Since your frames bend like a paperclip

yup! Even since you tacked my cams, and I marked my toe, my alignment still gets tweaked when I romp hard through the dirt. The only explanation? frame getting tweaked.

Force always looks for the weakest link. When you strengthen one thing, it will go to the next.

None taken brother, I know I don't hit it as hard as most but that was never my build plan. I wanted a truck that could take it if I f'd up but still road nice on the street where it is 99% of the time.

haha for sure, but remember, all it takes is that 1% to fuck up everything for the 99%, and you were going pretty damn hard in Barstow last time we were out

yah dude it really come down to my needs, and wants, the needs is still high for an operational truck i can park in the garage lol

and the long distance travel just wasnt ever going to be there, +++ i do think a DCLB up much higher may have made other trails harder than they actually are, just due to the size alone

I talked to them today. The rear set up is currently for King 16" only. The price is very good. I thought.

Still thinking about a group buy...anyone. I would be down for the rear so I could get my sua kit install all at once.
