Where is the best/cheapest place to get bulk 9mm ammo? Lately I’ve been buying 1000 rounds at a time from luckygunner and it comes out to about 33 cents a round after shipping and taxes. I feel like I could do better. I’d like to reload but I don’t really have the time for that these days. So for now I just buy it bulk.

I’m located in Prescott area but I go down to the Phoenix area often enough. So, preferably in the Prescott area but Phoenix is acceptable, where’s the best place for bulk ammo purchases?

Pretty cheap. Watch sales maybe at other big online retail. Otherwise I think you’re right near the bottom.

That’s not what I wanted to hear… :annoyed:

I got out of the gun game for several years and have recently gotten back into it. When I stopped shooting, I think I was paying around 30 cents for .45 and around .20 for 9mm.

I remember 38 spc reloaded wadcutters at .05 a round.

Sounds like I need to reconsider reloading. I like to shoot about 500-750 rounds (just 9mm for now) per month so maybe reloading will pay for itself rather quickly.

Limit one, with shipping comes to about .38 a round. Going rate on decent ammo seems to be .25 a round for 9mm

That’s actually pretty good compared to where I just bought 2k rounds from. SGAmmo has free shipping for anything above $200. If I bought from there for my last purchase, I would have saved about $80. Plus, their 1000 round boxes are about $10 less than luckygunner.

Thanks for the link, I’ll use them next time.

It was a magical time, you could find fish in the ocean (it was all wild caught), birds in the sky (I remember chasing pheasant in my back yard). Gasoline was .33 a gal, a pound of coffee was 16 ounces.

these are the tales I need to hear, thank you for sharing.

best I ever paid was 99¢ per gal just as I reached driving age.

Now the best options I have is $14 eggs and $1.50 Costco hotdog/cola bundle.

and one day those will be the tales the youth wants.

*I appreciate your good spirited nature, I wish the internet was always this fun.
