Had a Warn semi hidden bumper with bull bar installed on 2019 TRD Pro. After install my pre collision sensor keeps going on and off. I’m assuming it’s the bull bar. I checked for loose connections. Feeling like an idiot because I didn’t think about that darn sensor. Unfortunately the folks that recommended and installed that bumper didn’t either.

Anyone have similar issues? Any solutions?

Pretty common issue. Some have gotten around the issue by aiming the TSS sensor.

Maybe someone with more knowledge on the situation will comment.

    ewffff, major oversite!
I believe that sensor is aimed or calibrated, so keep that in mind if you want to relocate it.

You have a picture? My bull bar did not interfere with the radar, but everyone is different

Ouch, no real solution besides removing the bar or disabling the radar sensor.

I’m shocked that bumper is marketed for that year model. All the work was completed by shop before I returned to pick up the truck. Didn’t notice it until driving away and sensor came on. Unfortunately shop is 9 hours away.

Can the pre collision sensor be permanently disabled or will I have to manually turn it off each time I start the truck?

It works okay with the original OR grille, the heritage grille is a known no-go.

    You have three options:

Install an SR or other center-mount grille,
Exchange the bumper for one that doesn't interfere with the grille,
Or forever live with the yellow dash light.

Wow, it’s simply covering the entire sensor.
Not sure why they wouldn’t notice.
