You could lean on it, prolly pull yourself up with it, etc, but I wouldn't put your full weight on it, like to stand on to reach further under the hood.

I will note, that this one actually looks like it has a much better mounting system than most.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. It protects your lower bumper from baby dear, varmits, birds and "little children"....

P.S. I don't weigh 400 pounds, but I have stood on it. Made by Vangard.

I saw couple of Tacos with that and they looked cool. I might get it, i just don't like having just cosmetic stuff, i install stuff i actually use. I saw other ones but they are all way too big.

I bought mine and had it powder-coated solely for looks. I added a hitch on the rear bumper for the same reason I added the bull bar; to have somewhat of a buffer should the truck and another vehicle collide.

Some would argue it’s a liability, detriment or even a hazard to have because it’s attached directly to the frame which makes it prone to becoming damaged in a collision.

I despise tailgaters especially when I’m doing the speed limit, so for me the hitch extension serves as a deterrent. The front end of your vehicle will get jacked-up by hitting the hitch first before my bumper.

From my experience and (f.....) deer whacks, they come from the side at dusk/dawn, not ever/usually from the front.

maybe don't drive the speed limit in the left lane being an ass and you won't have so many tailgaters.

Here's an idea; how 'bout you pull your head of out your ass because you know, it’s not a hat. Did I say anything about driving the speed limit in the left lane -or- specify the number of times the tail-gaiting has occurred? no, the answer's no. Since you want to see what you want to see, I'll keep it simple for ya: stay in your lane
**see what I did there Beavis ??? :brianr:

Don’t get one. It’s a damage multiplier and reduces approach angle/ground clearance.

Just know if you do install it, everyone will know you spend way too much time in the Walmart vehicle accessory isle.

Like all that plastic is going to stay intact without a bull bar. In a high speed accident, either way, your front end is gone.

But yes it does definitely reduce approach angle, and I've saved my lower bumper by actually doing this. I wish I had more off road pics/vids.

Even worse, just coming out from a Mall and seeing scratches on my steel, knowing it would have been a lot worse.

Bottom line, if your really into Off Roading, it's not recommended, but if your into reality and into Mall crawling, it's helpfull. And I guaranty 95% of folks here only Mall Crawl. Get a rear steel bumper, side bars and call it a day.

So it's tinfoil. At that weight I wouldn't even lean on it. Id question if it could survive riding in the delivery truck. At least my cheap chinesium bumper weighs a good 75 pounds.
