I’ve bolted some stuff to it *lists cool stuff here*
Plus don’t use your impact to install it, might break torquing screws too tight

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Who's talking high speed? At slow speed (5mph?), the OP's bull bar will fold right into the grille.

They did mine twice which they hit the front fender near the headlight. Same spot...

I haven't hit the deer with my '17 yet.

And without the bar, what do you think is going to happen to that plastic grill and bumper?

Find out what your game wardens, highway patrol, sheriffs use (usually have a state wide contract public contract to get spec's from if you search) and get that - they actually use them.

sounds like you either need to pull over and let some traffic go by, or start metering traffic with a blow dryer and a chuckee cheese badge like a real wannabe cop.

alternatively, you can always do the Paul Blart thing and get real serious at the mall, considering all the extra time you must have.

I went with the Avid Offroad front bumper guard because it actually has a pretty minimal impact on front approach angle the way it's designed, it's proper tube steel other than the mount plates which are a thick right angle piece, and properly mounts to the same bumper points as a full plate bumper rather than the weaker radiator subframe section the cheap bullbars mount too. I skipped powder coat option and just bedlinered the whole piece to make touching up scrapes from parking lot or tapping thing off pavement easy.

I see a ton of wrecks every year from commuters who thought they were drivers. Hopefully you slow down and get some professional training so it doesn't happen to you. It's a public roadway and not a racetrack, speed limits are there for a reason, even though you don't understand why.

This. I’ve looked at Westin and Setina, but can’t find anything for a Tacoma. Tacos are not exactly common usage for law enforcement. Anyone know of any agencies actually using the 3rd gens?
