Looks awesome! Does anyone know if putting one of these on hurts the warranty in anyway?

Being bolt on, are these bull bars functional in any way? Seems like they’d just bend right back into the bumper.

Probably won't affect warranty, but certainly add to the diminished value of your man card.

IMHO, these "bull bars" are best referred to as "bro bars". Pretty much anything that gets "bro" added to it in the automotive world means that this group of "bro folks" really have no idea what they are buying/installing on their "Brocoma". They just want to impress other clueless "bros" with a "bro look" on their "Brocoma".

Outside of that circle of "bros", you'll find "enthusiasts". These folks don't just install gear to "look" the part, they buy/build stuff that actually does the part.

Now, keep in mind a "bro" could still get lucky and slap on some real gear (not even knowing it) and get along with "enthusiasts", at least until they slip and show thier "bro".

    Prime example are "Broverlanders".
It is really difficult to spot these guys off road, but super easy to spot in the city, Latte drive thru, and mall parking lots.

This was a PSA based on my opinion (and surely many many many others), so if anyone got "offended" in any way with this PSA, you just damaged your man card even further.

I’d consider them if it protected my truck from parking in the city but it seems like the bull bar would just bend back into the bumper unless it’s welded on in multiple points.:rain:

I'm glad you two just bumped and quoted replies in a 5 year old thread. Kudos to you both :hattip: a bull bar is often times known as a damage multiplier for somewhat obvious reasons. If you want protection buy a better bumper.

None, they're just a damage amplifier.

I will say that most people will persuade you not to get a bull-bar as these are essentially Damage Multipliers x5 when it comes to getting into an accident.

People will instead recommend you get a full front bumper replacement that C4 or SSO offers.
