just my opinion but they make the trucks look like they have buck teeth.... if it was made to come out of your stock lower bumper cover and fit better...maybe... but the way they attach looks like you ran over them and they got stuck

If you just use your truck for city driving like I do. There isn't much point in a bull bar. Unless you plan to push some vehicles with your truck.

But if I had a 4x4 that would be one of the first mods I would do.

I say yay, not only do they look good but i went off roading and thru some deep brush and because of the bull bar it pushed the thrush and thorny brush away from my bumper which was good

I've got no love for them. It's reminds me of something my grandfather would have put on his truck. I off road a lot so I'm always looking for more clearance and those things butcher your approach angle.

What's the purpose of them anyway? Is it just for looks? They don't really offer any protection and you sure as hell don't need that big thing to hang lights on.

With that said, if you like it, get it. That's all the reason you need.

It all comes down to personal preference. For me I went with one because I think the front license plate mounted on the bumper looks like ___. But at the same time I have seen the exact same bull bar on a different color taco and didn't like it. I mounted mine today an I like the look it gives the truck. So either you like it and put it on your truck or don't. Quite worrying what other people think.

Personally I think the all black rims look like crap. Do the people that have all black rims give a damn that I personally think they look like crap? Nope. They like them so they put them on. If you like the way it looks on your truck then do it. I say this applies to anything.

A nay for me. I don't like the look at all. And it really serves no function in protecting the truck. The design of the bullbar is most likely going to cause more damage if you were to hit something. nope, notta, never. Just not for me.

Bullbars have no strength at all. If you pushed another vehicle with one, you could kiss your bent bullbar and you smashed grill goodbye.

well i will be replacing mine in a month with a bumper from cbi offroad.
here is proof that they will save your bumper. the bar is still fine, it is linexed,
the skid however, not so much. i hit a black 5 gallon bucket on the highway
    at night at 84 mph.

IMO they only look good on lifted taco's. Probably because they mount below the bumper, rather than level with it. Makes the front of the truck look lower than it actually is.
