i soo want in this trip..(i never been off roading or trailing)..i have a stupid question though.. my tires are low on thread...i dont know how low, should i still be able to make it to this trip..? when 08pretaco said a jeep went through 3 spares, kinda scared me for a bit..

 

i personally wouldnt suggest going with balding tires. i got mud terrain with more than half thread left still and i had maybe dime size chunks taken out from my tread it is very rocky in parts

 

Looking at the pictures, I dont think my truck is capable. I see no malls and parking lots, thus, I am out.

I went up tougher stuff than this on my first excursion out to four peaks...I don't think there will be much problem.

Plus we will have enough guys and trucks to get out of whatever comes our way.

 

Are first gens allowed on this run? I have 4wd but I can try not to use it

 

Out of curiosity, would anyone want to run this thursday as a 'pre run' or anything? I got an ich to hit some trails

No. Those trails are in Florence. There are a few good trails around this area though.

 

Yeah I don't think your Camburg gear and icons would hold up out there. I'd stick to the malls

 

im unhappy to say this but here it goes: i cant go unless i get my new suspension installed the friday before due to recent info that has come to my attention

 

What do you have going onto your rig?

 

eibach with collars, 5100 all around (maybe not the back yet) and a set of camburg lift spindles.

 

That shouldn't be too hard...took me about 2ish hours or so. So maybe about 4 to 4 and half with the spindles...

 

2 hours to do spindles??? in that case where you wanna meet so you can help me lol

 

LOL I edited my post...I would think about 4 an 1/2 hours would get it done.

I have a 4x4 so I won't be getting spindles on mine. I have no idea how long it would take to put them on.

But the run isn't until the 19th, it's the 3rd now...that gives you plenty of time right?

 

ya i go to school and work so i dont have any free time until that friday due to finals and such
ya i noticed you 4x4 thought maybe you helped someone install them before

 

Nope, just installed my 5100 on my truck and it was pretty straight forward.

Where do you live? Maybe we can work something out?
