You should be able to take it back to stock tune then remove it as needed.

Pretty amazing items this unit can do, value with function and options:

    TUNING OPTIONS

    Stock
This tune allows the user to download special features and functions.

    Tow
This will give our drivers a higher average horsepower over what they had before as well as a powerful torque improvement that pulls their engine performance to an improved level with an additional 7 horsepower.

    Regular
This will help your engine to show its true power using its inherent but hidden horsepower and torque! Enjoy an additional 9 horsepower!

    Premium
This will give your engine the maximum level of power and torque available! You can enjoy up to 25 horsepower in gains and 30 ft/lb depending on application.

    TUNING FEATURES

    Speed Limiter
This option allows drivers to set limits that will keep their vehicle under a certain speed or remove the speed limiter.

    Shift Points (Auto Transmission)
Change the RPM level at which your automatic transmission will shift gears when the throttle is wide open.

    Driving Coach
The Driving Coach is invaluable for teaching great efficient driving habits. Using momentum and minimizing your acceleration and braking will help your engine access the full mileage available in every gallon of gas that you put in your tank. The Driving Coach uses an efficiency bar to display when you are using your momentum correctly and using a grading system, will develop habits that will benefit your fuel economy. You have the option to use an alert system for when your driving becomes inefficient but of course you can choose to turn off these alerts in the GT T + menu.

    Display
The GT display is the key to a successful tune. With over fifteen vehicle parameters that can be monitored and displayed, you can watch your engines performance and keep tabs on all the measurements you care about. With one screen displaying 4 gauges at one time, and easy navigation, you will see the difference our tuner can make for your engine from a second to second basis. Multiple display options let you change between gauges and a full color display let you customize your screen to your preference.

    Day and Night Mode
This feature offers two modes for your GT T+ display. If switching between day and night modes doesn't happen automatically, simply push the bottom button just to the right of the display screen and your background will go turn black, which dims your GT for minimal distraction for night time driving. Pushing the top button to the right of the display screen will make your display go back to a brighter daytime mode.

    DTC's
Codes used by vehicle manufacturers to identify problems; this information is gathered by the engine computer and accessible through the vehicle's diagnostic port (OBDII).

    Data Logging
Want to record what your engine performance is doing over a period of time? Use the data logging feature to download results from a drive logged for later use. If you want to record engine performance over a period of time, use this feature.

    Performance Testing
Someday, you may get the chance to drive where there are no posted speeds. Take your Bully Dog GT T+ with you, because it's a racing man's best friend. Our GT T+ can give drivers a quarter-mile time and a 0-60 time so you can post a personal best. It comes with a drag tree on display so you can really feel what it's like to unleash your engine.

    Safety Warnings

    Pyro Warning
Your pyro warning will sound when your pyro temperatures become too hot. This can be set up in your GT T+ menu.

    Coolant Temperature
If your car begins to overheat, you will be the first to know with the use of this warning. This will notify when your coolant temperatures are getting too hot. This is customizable in the GT T+ menu.

    Transmission Temperature
This gauge option shows the transmission temperature.

I wish they would post dyno results for it already. I think 900 bucks is a little much to ask when there's no proof of what it can do.

I know that this is off topic because you guys aren't doing anything with the 2TR FE 2.7, but that's a useful piece of information... :)
So Tacoma driveline losses account for around 32 horsepower.

I could extrapolate those same driveline losses to obtain a more accurate baseline for the 2.7. Factory specs 159hp at the crank, so that would work out to 127hp at the wheels.

This puts my baseline results of 147hp (with only header and intake) in more realistic terms. That means a gain of 20hp with the header and intake. I had been comparing it to a weaker at the wheels baseline run that netted only 119hp, because that was the only totally stock 2.7 baseline run in existence.

An intake gain of 20hp is much more realistic for just a header and intake and no tuning. :)

    $900?... fuk.

I had no idea it was that much money. I'm sure that high end products like that will meet the needs of others who are going balls to the walls modifying their engines, But that level of tuning control for my little 2.7 is far beyond my needs, which is more like maybe just some MAF tuning if anything.

If they had a coupon for early adopters I would give it a try. The truck in the video looked like it had a pulley and exhaust.

We just got word our's have shipped for stocking. I'll have them by Monday. Ill see if I can get any TW pricing for you guys. It's hard with new electronics.

The price is high, but if you factor in what a UniChip costs, this is worth it for sure since you get all the heads up gauges and the other functions. It does a lot of cool stuff. Can't wait to play with one!

By "killer" do you mean 66% off?

Not having done a thorough cost/benefit analysis, I'd say anything more than $300 is just an expensive toy.

We mean a fair price for the product as compared to the MSRP price.

I mean look at it this way. Pretty much any truck mod you buy is a toy. I have a customer who bought a Trophy Truck from gieser this year, cost him over 300k - One expensive ass toy! Personally, I just picked up a new cold brew coffee maker, crap cost me 250 bucks!!! But Toys make life interesting & fun. If you only bought out of necessity, your life would be pretty boring. You should see me stare at this coffee maker when it operates, to me it was worth the expense.
