I'm sure there has, but when they said it would yield around 10hp it lost most interest from the crowd.

Honestly, the only thing i care about is HP. If I can turn off the seatbelt and key buzzer thats a bonus. It's a tuner not a light bulb dimmer.

I was hoping someone with mods like mine had given it a try and posted some info. I don't need dyno results just their thoughts on it.

Well if 10hp is worth $998 to you have at it!

I'm not going to reward them until there is a HP gain worth the price.

65 HP for about $5800.00 SC with parts and labor. Not much difference per HP?

    1) Turn the Car 'ON', but do not start the engine (Leave your foot off the brake). Cycle your trip reset knob until it reads ODO. Turn the ignition back off. Wait a couple of seconds.
    2) Make sure seat belt is not fastened
    3) Turn the ignition back on, do not start the car (Leave you foot off the break) As soon as you see everything light up, press and hold the trip reset knob and do a long 12 second count.
    4) Keep your finger on the trip reset knob. Fasten your seat belt, as soon as you fasten your seat belt, you should see the ODO display go from XXXX miles to "b-on". At that time take your finger off the trip reset knob and press it again. It should cycle to "b-off". You should be all set and turn the ignition off and unfasten your seat belt.

Seriously!? I'm going to try that. You have any secret handshakes for the key alarm when the door is open?

I started talking to the Unichip folks when I had my first gen Tundra. I haven't purchased for the Tacoma because I haven't added any engine mods. I was hoping that BD would be the ticket, but it looks like they've left the building.

I'm thinking the supercharger is the way to go. Saving money.

The TRD supercharger is a proven item.... Let others be the guinea pig for this bully bull stuff.

The supercharger is an instant 70hp...... Thennu always have pulley options to play with.

And since u have no performance mods yet, there's plenty of supporting mods like headers, intake, y pipe, exhaust, and such to do.

    Go with the blower.

I have a 2012 supercharged and the bully dog tuner. I was able to get in on a GB and could not pass up the chance at it. I know everyone is dissappointed in the results, but they will get to the Tacoma (hopefully soon) and I will be waiting...
I do notice the difference while running the tune, but I usually have it set to the stock setting.

I hear ya but I was quoted at just under 6K for the supercharger here in NH at the local dealership where they also said they had never done it before. I cant justify 6K when I could just trade and get the 5.7 tundra for less than that. I love my taco but I want to tow more often and pull more weight. The BD seemed like a cool option that was expensive but wouldn't break the bank. Was just hoping that someone here had tried it with similar upgrades I had already done. URD exhaust, Y-pipe, TCAI, Maf calibrator.

The BD Tuner will be badass once they take the time to develop the tunes like they did for the Tundra. The supercharged Tacos look to pick up a huge amount of power once they get it dialed in. Right now its all the waiting game.
