Recently lifted with a set of OME 883s and 5100s set on ZERO along with a Deaver AAL.

Got an alignment and the truck drives well on smooth surfaces but as soon as I get on a bumpy highway or uneven surface, it sways, bounces, and feels quite unstable. Almost like swaying a bit in front like it's riding on rock-hard bias ply tires. I reduced the air pressure down to 30 and it helped a ton. Factory wheels and 265/70/16 tires. The steering feels tight but man, once I hit a bump, the wheel jerks and the truck feels like it's not staying straight. No clunks. Steering parts are original at 220k. Didn't notice this before the lift.

I'm thinking of ordering some aftermarket UCAs with built-in caster hoping this will minimize what I think is bumpsteer. The tech could only pull so much caster out of my factory control arms. He had to work like hell to get the lowers to budge at all.

    Alignment sheet included.

The same shit everyone else has.
The caster is entirely too low.

So ordering a set of aftermarket UCAs should remedy this issue? Assuming the lowers aren’t too stuck to adjust?
