Hi I'm new to tacoma world and have a 2012 trd sport with a 3 inch suspension lift on 32.5 tires and I noticed even when my truck was stock, bumps would want to take my steering wheel out of my hand.is there a steering stabilizer for it or a way to stop that? Thanks in advance

I have the same issue now that I lifted the truck 2.5". I didn't notice it before I lifted the truck. I imagine you could get a beefier stabilizer, curious to see what others have to say.

Like Jimmyh said, caster is probably the culprit. Your stock ucas arent adjustable and you cant get the correct caster. Youll need new adjustable ucas to fix your issue.

To be honest, ive never even heard of anyone needing a steering stabilizer on a tacoma.

Thanks for your replies.yes I had the alignment done and yes you can't fix the caster but this did that even before the lift and I've owned the truck since it only had 8000 miles and it always did it

I wonder if it is because my truck came with those 18" wheels

Lower profile tires will pull more on imperfections on the road, but it shouldnt be that bad. Im still leaning towards bad caster (not camber). Caster could have been out of whack before the lift. Its definitely out of whack with 3" of lift. It will maje your tires pull towards i perfections and feel floaty, light in the steering wheel, at highway speed.

    Caster should be around 2*.
