I'm looking to order one of the following bump stop kits before I go to Drummond in a few weeks. I'm running a 2.5" lift, full armor (bumpers, sliders, skids). I do a fair amount of towing with the truck, I think the most I've done is near 5000lbs and I doubt I would go much above that: If you have any personal experience with these please let me know. Appreciate your time!

I'm running the Wheelers Super bumps with their U-bolt flip kit and they are cushy when bottomed out.

A cheaper alternative is to use Lexus GX470 rear bump stops, widely available on Amz. The two-hole bolt pattern lines up with Wheelers' U-bolt flip kit top plate.

Another cheap solution is to use Silverado yellow bump stops, widely available on Amz. Drill a hole in the frame bump bracket and bolt them in.

I had Timbrens with All-Pro U-bolt flip kit on a 2nd gen and they were harsher, acting more like a stiff spring than a shock absorber.

Did you have to use any spacers with the Wheeler Super Bumps? I was leaning towards them as I've heard good and bad about the timbrens but I wasn't sure how much adjusting I would need ot do with them.

^No. The pedestal for the Wheelers Super bumps already adds a bit of height and restricts uptravel compared to stock:

^I got the Icon RXT leaf pack with Speedway liners, netting me 4.3" lift over stock. With a Mobtown steel bumper it dropped to 4.0" over stock.
