does it look like my leaf springs are bending toward the ground?

should I replace with stronger parts?

I have overloaded my truck a few times... still drives great!775A9018-7AB3-4A20-A160-66252F74990E.jpgC0E9294B-3D24-4DD3-9BDD-9AE29A0C5760.jpg

Looks similar to my truck. That's basically how my springs look. You can do an AAL or a bigger leaf pack, but that will add lift.

As far as the brake drums, I would paint them with some black exhaust paint if it bugs you that bad.

I think your gonna have to take the wheel off. You can't see anything useful about the leafs from your pictures. Also, a 2017 with sagging leafs? That seems a bit odd. Too new if you ask me.

Is the truck sitting level? These trucks have a lot of droop. Judging from your wheel in the wheel well, it looks normal to me. On my 19 with stock suspension the springs were nearly flat at ride height.

Remove the drums, take a steel brush and soapy water to them, then brake cleaner. Spray 4-5 light coats of black "caliper" (high-temp) spray paint on them (available at any auto parts store).

i had 7 boxes of 12X12 tile and 3 bags of thin set in my 2016. back was sagging down and when i drove slow over speed bumps the bump stops hit.

Its pretty level but I can do better I will post new pictures. I Have loaded this truck with 1,200 pounds of water and lots of other stuff. So I'm curious. The truck definitely hits the bump stops when I am loaded and going over a speed bump or bumps in the road.

Stoked on this reply, Its quite humid here and I am not far from the ocean. I Definitely do not want rust spreading.
