I guess you don't understand that businesses have to make a profit?
I can guarantee that none of us are getting rich off our products!
there are some awesome products and vendors on this forum that have put countless hours to bringing some pretty great products to this community, if you don't like the price than don't buy it but to say that is a $400 bumper is ignorant. Frankly if you knew all the costs involved in building U.S made products you would see that most are likely underpriced.

I more than understand US made products & profits (I retired at 44 because of it).
Don't let it bug you.. I was just pointing out the obvious on that bumper. Is it really ever an $1800 bumper? For the asking price it shouldn't look cookie cutter) Maybe if you make them custom & 1 by 1 alone $1800 is fair.

You make GREAT products and are always willing to help and answer questions. So your the wrong person to debate with.

When I made the crossbars for my truck I bought a 4x8 sheet of steel and burnt out 8-9 of them (not just the three that I wanted/needed) and bumped into someone who purchased someone else's from this site and when he told me what he paid for the two bar setup it sunk in.

    - angled license plate is a problem for those of us that live in areas that legally require plate to be vertically mounted
    - the corners of the bumper have a weird, angular, downward protrusion that does not align with the bed of the truck, and actually hangs LOWER than the OEM bumper; probably done so to fit the BSM sensors, but it's an incredibly ugly eyesore
    - would prefer to reuse OEM license plate lights instead of adding the aftermarket light strip
    - the plastic panels that sit inside the bumper should really be shaped so as to protrude into the cut-out, for a smooth, lined-up finish from the exterior (the plastic insert should be level with the metal)

Started on this for the rear bumper also, well under the frame, under the bed.
The base is a Harbor Freight Winch Plate, this will be modded to fit a decent non-harbor freight or tractor supply winch.
Looking at: Smittybuilt or Superwinch with a capacity of 10k to 13k lbs. w/ synthetic line
I plan on making a billet fairlead with healthy leads front and rear, the thickness of it is to bring face to be flush with the rear of the license plate.

Mind sharing the sourcing site? I have been looking for a data like this to start designing parts myself. Is this an OEM sourced model?

Added in the rough frame rails, need to pull some dimensions off of my truck.
In a week or so I'll have some costs to the custom parts of this. If there's interest I can do multipiece orders
